R.I.P. Tony DeZuniga
The comic industry has lost another legend. Tony DeZuniga, the co-creator of Jonah Hex and The Black Orchid passed away on Wednesday. He will be missed.
Avengers Topples Box-Office
The Avengers campaign kicked off two years ago at Comic-Con 2010 to 6500 ecstatic fans in Hall H. Everyone there knew it was going to be a huge blockbuster, but I don’t think anyone thought it would be this HUGE!
207.4 MILLION opening weekend. Reported by Deadline.
Just how big is that? Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 held the previous record at 169 million. That is a...
The Daily Three
Going to start a daily post on things that I found cool around web. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did. First is via Geek Tyrant. It is an awesome trailer/clip for a animated film called Apocalypse Pizza. Apocalypse Pizza by blankytwo
This next clip holds a soft spot in my heart. When I was growing up I was part of Zoo School at our local zoo. Every weekend we would get to go to the zoo and do...

Why Won't You Draw Me Back!
There is a fascinating article over at The Atlantic about the rise and fall of Draw Something. You know, that pictionary rip-off app that everyone was raving about a month ago. Well they’re not raving now!
Anyone who thought that a game like this could be long lasting is not very smart, and that brings us to Zynga. The social gaming company behind facebook favorite Farmville, forked...

Avengers Time
I don’t typically do movie reviews so I will keep this short. I saw The Avengers. I was extremely hesitate going into this movie due to the amount of hype that was being said on the movie blogoshere. EPIC is the word that was being thrown around. These were the same people that were using the word EPIC in their reviews of John Carter, and we all know how wrong they were on that one.

The Not So Dark Knight (literally)
I’m going to hop on the bandwagon and post the new The Dark Knight Rises trailer. The one thing that I found interesting is there seems to be a lot of key scenes that take place in the daylight. Which isn’t a big deal but it is a change to Batman’s usual nighttime escapades.
All in all I was not as jazzed about the trailer as everyone else seems to be. I’m not saying it...
Puppet Time!
A couple weeks back I took my first step into puppetry. Well that’s not really true, I have actually been working with puppets ever since I was I little kid. I used to walk around the mall back home and talk to people with my moppet. A moppet was like a Henson puppet but really furry. Below is a video I made a year ago with my original moppet. Anyways, so I have always been into puppets. If...

The Mighty 10
This graph popped up on the french blog Convergence Alimentaire. It pretty much shows that 10 companies, count that 10. The number of fingers you have on both hands, unless of course you lost one in a freak accident or you’re a mutant with an additional appendage, but that 10 companies pretty much control everything that we consume.
Pretty crazy!
Lex Luthor Was Robbed!
Today Forbes released their list of the 15 wealthiest fictional characters. In the past I have been okay with who they selected, but this year was different. They left off Lex Luthor!
Now I know that Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark are up there in the wealthiest of comic characters, but Lex Luthor I have always felt had more. Lexcorp is involved in everything, even more so then Wayne Enterprises. To...
Boring Day
Today has not been very exciting. Work has kept me busy, but not busy enough to keep me from writing this blog post. It has been a slow news day, not a whole lot of excitement out there in the entertainment world. CinamaCon is going on this week. If you have no clue what I’m talking about look it up. There has been some news coming out of it, but nothing that is setting the internet on fire....
Get To Know Me
I thought I would let everyone into my little world. I’m going to do a weekly post that will focus on something that is important to me. Whether it be a comic, a piece of art, a movie or anything else that affects me.
This is my workstation. I have this great art desk that is currently going to waste. Like many people I have a lot of goals, and dreams. One is being an artist. While I...

Time Wasting on Netflix: The Black Donnellys
So I just finished up the greatest show on television, The Wire on HBOGO. Haven’t been using my Netflix account very much recently. I logged in today to find out that the added The Black Donnellys! I loved this show and felt that is didn’t get the recognition it deserved. It came out when the Sopranos was in its prime, and people didn’t feel like watching a crime drama on...
ParaNorman
I have to say, I’m pretty excited for this movie!

This has been making the rounds on the Internet this week. I for one really want to buy an oil painting of clowns storming the beach of Normandy.

Occupy "Beyond" Wall Street
I’m a “loose” supporter of the Occupy Wall Street movement. The income inequality in this country has become ridiculous, and people are really hurting out there and I stand by those drawing attention to the issue. I say “loose” supporter because I believe the movement’s belief that they have to physically occupy a space is now actually hurting the movement.

Game of Thrones- Season 2
Season 2 - In Production
HBO released production footage of season two of Game of Thrones, and although it doesn’t show a whole lot, I’m pretty excited. Game of Thrones is up there in my top TV shows of the year, and I’m a huge fan of George R.R Martin, and his Song of Ice and Fire series. This year at Comic-Con, it was the one panel that I actually went to, where I stopped...
Friday Humor
So if you don’t like South Park, or you are tired of Penn State jokes then don’t watch the below clips. But if you are like me and are constantly amazed at how Trey Parker and Matt Stone consistently come up with funny shit about current events then please watch.

The Muppets
Do you notice anything different about the logos, besides the basic design? I’m a huge fan of the Muppets, and the fact the Disney removed Jim Henson’s name from above the title and replaced it with their own pisses me off.

Nightwing—Not because it’s bad, just because I need to cut back
Supergirl—The same reason as above. This is sad because I really dig Mahmud Asar’s art.
Last of the Mohicans
I watched Last of the Mohicans last night, what a great movie. In my opinion what makes it a great movie over a good movie is the last eight minutes. The first scene starts when Nathaniel goes into the Huron village to plead for the lives of Cora, Alice and Duncan. Which is followed by the epic scene of Uncas chases down Magua and his party to save Alice, only to be killed by Magua and have...
